About this app

This is Super Chill. An app for children 6 years and older, designed to help them discover the superpowers in their head. Super Chill combines playful movement and relaxation exercises that help children to deal better with constant stimulus and emotions, because so much happens in just one day! Super Chill teaches children various skills in order to feel more relaxed and to have fun too.

What makes Super Chill unique?

It's playful: we believe that the best way to learn something is to do it playfully. The videos are chock full of exercises that don't just get you moving, but also teach you to stretch your body until you're as resilient as a rubber band with leopard print! Not just in your body, but in your head too. And here's the best thing: after a while, you won't even need the app anymore.

Especially for children: the exercises are designed to help children to feel more calm, to teach them little routines, and to enjoy some lovely exercise. But don't worry: no one has to sit still, cross-legged, for hours on end.

Share a little moment together: grown-ups get to play too. That's how you can create a little moment together, in order to understand each other better. Lots of children have really busy lives, full of school work, hobbies, family, and friends. It's a lot of fun, obviously, but also a whole lot to handle.

Various exercises: the app is full of videos that are inspired by meditation and yoga, but also exercises that, with a few simple movements, can help children to properly handle any situation. The idea is to minimise thoughts from flying around our heads like a frisbee.

Educational: The app teaches children to harness their Super Chill concentration. It's like having a magic remote control only they can use. That's how the hottest of hot heads can easily learn to get a fresh and calm head.

Safe for children: The Super Chill app is safe to use and your privacy is guaranteed. And that's a promise!

Completely Free: The Super Chill Foundation app is completely free and contains no ads or profit-driven models, such as selling your data. The Super Chill Foundation operates independently, co-founded with support from Rituals, as part of their 10% Profit Pledge.

Why Super Chill?

The lives of children should be about playing, learning, arguing, falling down and getting up again, and putting funny stickers on foreheads. It shouldn't be about endless worrying and stress. The Super Chill app offers tips and tricks that help children deal with all the diverse stimuli that happens on a normal day. There is so much more going on these days, so much more noise, than when today's grown-ups were young. We want children all over Europe to stand more firmly on their own two feet so that they can learn, from a young age, how to use little routines to change a busy head into a calm one. Our ultimate goal is to have the words 'Super Chill' be synonymous with mentally resilient children. **** COMMENT FROM DAVID - I would not recommend using the phrase 'falling in love' (verliefd worden) in reference to children. Perhaps if this was a sentence about young adults, or older teenagers, that could work. But, in the English speaking world anyway, talking about children falling in love will most likely not be received too well. I have chosen to leave that phrase out of the English translation.

Continuously new exercises: We continuously update our app with new, fresh exercises, so that children constantly have something new to discover. This will help them to stand firmly on their own two feet, or sneakers, or boots, or water shoes.

Download the app today: The quicker you download the app, the quicker you'll be able to get started (and we mean this in the most stress-free way possible.) Super Chill: for a fresh and calm head.

Seems like a nice app, but it disables the phone's back button and provides a custom button placed elsewhere. Thie violates Google's own Android Human Interface Guidelines, making navigation counter intuitive.

Installed the app out of curiosity, pressed 'still wanna try first'. Bc I wanna try first bf I give u my details. However the app doesnt let me try first, despite its empty promises. I keep being stuck in the 'create an account'/'still wanna try first' page, no matter how many times I press that I wanna try first. The app doesnt let me go past that page and doesnt let me a.c.t.u.a.l.l.y try first. So naturally I uninstalled. Bc I wanna try at least something first. Anything. Anything at all

Thanks for your feedback! The issue may be due to your device. The app requires Android 6 or iOS 13.4, as noted in our FAQ. Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini doesn't meet these requirements, which could explain the issue. If you can try on a newer device, we’d love for you to give it another go. Thanks for your understanding!

Since starting with this app my ASD son is sleeping so much better. He now asks to do it at bedtime as he knows it calms his anxiety and helps him settle off.
