Really enjoyed the app and even paid for the ad-free version. Now, they've introduced a subscription model, which they heavily advertise in the app. Essentially, I paid to remove random ads only to be bombarded with ads for a shady subscription model. The pricing of said subscription also doesn't really add up. While the upkeep of the app, of course, costs money, the stations are hosted by other people, and the creators are just leeching off them. So, I'm just paying $2.39 a month for a frontend

It was a very nice radio app but suddenly, since May 2025, it started to show permanent, invasive and annoying ads, especially from the annoying TEMU. Every time I take a look at the app to make a change while playing, there is an ad that doesn't let me do anything. I understand that all the apps need ads to survive, but not in such a way. I hope you fix this asap.

This might be a small "before-you-buy", but I do have one note: In the "remove ads" section, it is said that payment would only remove visual ads, but not audible ones. This makes sense in the way that the radio stations OF COURSE have their own ad spaces during normal program/schedule. However, even though this exact kind of ad is implied, there is an additional layer of ads that are independent of the radio playing (I get some German stuff over Italian radio). It would be helpful to state that, in addition to the implicated radio program ad spaces, there are additional ads that are also played and that depend on the user, not the radio.
