The app doesn't know what it wants to be: Social network, dating app, friend finder or community networking platform. On top of this, many basic functions are linked to upsells so your reach is extremely limited until you oay out the nose. A lot of profiles are inactive ans never marked as such, so you spend a lot of time trying to reach out to people whom will never see your texts. On top of this, there are a couple straight men lurking apparently on the hunt for women regardless of orientation

Its a great concept a queer social networking app but very heavily leans towards paying a subscription with a lot of features missing. You aren't able to send photos or feature more than one photo on there as a paid member. I was barred from the platform for mentioning that I am cis ally attending a Trans rights rally here in the uk. I was an active member on the platform looking to make friends. I did email them to find out what happened but no response.

The app is always free to use and Lex Plus is only if you want features above and beyond. You can always email support@lex.lgbt to get help. Sorry for the frustrating experience thus far. 💜

Groups can have their location set to "everywhere" which subverts the distance limitation you can set. Which means most of what you see in the lists are irrelevant to your actual location. Which makes this app pretty much pointless or at least very noisy with irrelevant info, particularly if you're outside of the US. I like the idea of the app, so it gets a star for that... but it's not really useful so far.
