testing alternatives to outlook. setting this up feels good, smooth and easy configuration. animations stutter whenever opening emails. buttons indicating my current mailbox are huge, seems out of proportion to the text size. would be great to have an option to choose custom fonts, or at least let the app use default system fonts for monospaced, body and display.

So far it has been a smooth experience. I valued a lot the possibility to simply export the configuration from the Thunderbird desktop client, it really made my life easier. I'm just missing some features, like using a different color per account or adding an email signature. Edit: It turns out you can actually change the color and the signature. In settings, if you select a specific account, you access account specific settings. Thanks for pointing this out, I didn't notice before!

Thank you so much for your review, and we're glad to hear it's been a smooth experience! You can set up a non-HTML signature in Account Settings > Sending Mail > Composition defaults, and upvote a suggestion to include HTML signatures on Mozilla Connect! https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/k-9-mail-html-sign/idi-p/71065

The App looks great. I have been a user of Thunderbird for desktop for many years and its great to have it in mobile. Found a big issue for me though; when opening a draft which is a reply (saved using desktop) all history is being converted to Plain-Text by the mobile editor, (not only the reply itself). It doesn't happen when creating the draft from the mobile app. Hope this issues can be improved sooner. Enjoying it so far!
