This is now a subscription based browser. It wouldn't be a problem if it was a fully functioning application that allows you to download etc. Browsers should be FREE, especially on Android TV. It has an awful interface, no bookmark integration from Google, it's just plain awful and NOW you want people to PAY for it? AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

Google does not allow any "official", i.e., released on Google Play Store, Android TV apps to provide file download capability. Puffin was given a choice to remove the file download capability or be kicked out of Google Play Store 10 years ago.

I have Android 15 installed and I have tried the sites, which play video and on all other browsers and the sites and work perfect with no issues. That's how your system worked up until June/July 2025, and it only will screen freeze and or crash and close and it will do it repeatedly. It only does this on sites that have video, hopefully this new information will help you fix that issue

What are the names or URLs of "the sites" that you have issues with Puffin? So far, you are only willing to say that the sites have videos. Could you help me help you?

Latest update has made video streaming impossible. Everything is super slow and videos are buffering non stop although my broadband speed is high and stable. App seems also not responding to commands like clicking full screen.

I just tested Puffin TV Browser on Xiaomi MiBox S (the same device as yours), and Puffin worked well. What is your country and broadband provider? What is the name or URL of the website you have trouble streaming?

What's new

Puffin TV Browser is free to download but requires a paid subscription to function. In this release (10.1.1.70327), we fixed several reported issues. Thanks for using Puffin.
