Won't connect. Bridge can't find devices. App doesn't connect bridge/phone to the temporary WiFi network to complete set up. Devices won't work on a 5Ghz WiFi network. I've spent an hour of my time trying to get stuff to work. I started opening articles on the tado website about what to do if it doesn't connect... and then I lost interest. For the price, I was expecting better. Everything is going back. 🤷‍♂️

33% price hike out of the blue. I already bought the device, why do I have to subscribe to use. 4€ per month kills any savings the thermostats might create. Buy something else. Regarding your answer. The sheer enshitification of the free version to push the subscription is awful. - Open window recognition is "active" but won't turn off heating. - home / away recognition is active, but only automatically applies with the subscription - much more, but feedback is limited to 500 chars

Nice app and nice smart temperature regulation. However, the subscription plan is disturbing: for the auto-geofencing and to get an overview of how much energy (and money) is saving, the user must consider the cost of the equipment + 4 euro/month . This does not make too much sense, considering the price of the equipment.
