I have just received my new Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro (WiFi version) and I was able to set everything up without any issues in about 10 minutes, fortunately I am not experiencing any problems with connectivity and can configure everything easily and quickly with it's user friendly interface that's clean and nicely presented and straightforward to use. The earbuds connect seamlessly each time I remove them from the case.

Loving my Redmi 5 Pro earbuds, but find the noise cancelling a bit strong, so this app was supposed to help me tweak this. But like many other customers, the app won't find the earbuds at all. I've tried many things, including unpairing, turning Bluetooth off/on, repairing, selecting other models, etc etc. At one time I lost all sound & only uninstalling the app fixed it. So the app is useless, and now gone. Xiaomi products are usually very good (I'm on a Xiaomi phone). Not this time :-(

There's an entry in gestures for "hold press" and it activates the voice assistant. You can't turn it off. there's a menu entry for it and it does nothing. Every time I remove the earbuds or lay down or pull up my hood it interrupts what I am doing and opens the voice assistant. I would uninstall this stupid app, except the start stop function is really important. because the headphones don't have a button.
