In itself a neat app to have. Theoretically community based, although it's not quite clear to me who decides which edits go through and which don't. A generally good thing to have because lyrics can be really enjoyable. Or they would be if the app didn't crash every 2 minutes. That is to say if it even makes it that long, sometimes it already dies on launch. This has been going on for a while on my Honor 10, so it's not like my phone is outdated. This makes it literally unusable and needs a fix.

Great app for finding lyrics & learning the meanings behind them. I do have a small issue with the Suggest Genius Lyrics feature. For example, Taylor Swift has rerecorded some of her albums, & these are labeled as Taylor's Version. When I play a song like Style (Taylor's Version), the app suggests lyrics from the older, original version instead. It seems like the app doesn’t fully recognize songs with parentheses in the title. I hope this gets improved because the rest of the app is excellent.

Thanks for your review!
We did it like this because on platforms like YouTube, songs frequently have suffixes like "(Official Music Video)", which causes issues when trying to match with a Genius song page. To prevent this, we try to strip out anything in parenthesis. It's a trade-off, but in most cases it makes the end result more accurate.

The app puts looks first and usability second. It lacks base functionality in some places and provides uneccessary features in others. For example I can search for an artist and then click on a profile page that lists all the artists songs. This gives an endless list of seemingly unsorted songs. I'd like a sorting for individual Albums/EPs foremost. Secondly, I'd like an app with the description "Song Lyrics & More" to concentrate on lyrics BEFORE delving into "trending", "suggestions" and all that BS. Why can't I configure my dashboard as to not show me this kind of stuff at all. My musical taste is quite disjunct to most mainstream/trending stuff, so the dashboard is only annoying to me - even more so because I can't turn these "features" off. Please fix that. Build a nice looking lyrics app that ONLY makes reading and finding lyrics that the user actually wants to read convenient. Then I'm quite happy to pay a fair amount if money for it. But don't try forcefeeding me all this extra promotion BS.
