About this app

🦊 Take control of your internet with the Firefox browser — fast, private and fully on your side.

Whether you're after a private browser, an incognito browser, or just one that doesn’t creep on your data, Firefox keeps your browsing simple, safe and fast — no strings attached.

Get the browser that’s backed by a not-for-profit and trusted by millions worldwide. You’re in good company.

🛡️ Privacy-first, always:
• Tracker blocking by default: Social media trackers, cookies that follow you, cryptominers, and more? Blocked before they load.
• Private tabs that stay private: Close the tab, it’s gone. No history saved.
• Lock private tabs: Face ID, fingerprint, or PIN required to reopen.
• Custom search: Set your preferred private search engine.
• Add ad blockers: Choose your go-to extensions to block ads and popups.
• Use Firefox as your private browser or incognito browser: Built-in features protect your privacy from the start.

🧠 Smart tab control:
• Open as many tabs as you want: Find them easily in thumbnail or list view.
• Sync tabs: Pick up where you left off across mobile and desktop.

🔐 Password help:
• Save and sync passwords securely across devices.
• Suggests strong passwords for new log-ins.

⚡ Speed without spying:
• Fast browsing, no tracking: Firefox blocks trackers that slow you down.

🔍 Search, your way:
• Move the search bar to suit your hands.
• See suggestions, search history, and results from other devices.
• Search the web right from your home screen.
• Private search options: Choose your private search engine and use it across private browser mode or incognito mode.

🎨 Make it yours:
• Extensions, themes, privacy tweaks: Customise the way you browse.

🌙 Dark mode:
• Easier on your eyes and your battery.

📺 Video, your way:
• Watch in picture-in-picture or background mode: Total control.

📤 Share with ease:
• Share links in just a few taps: Works from any tab, private or not.

🧡 Billionaire-free for 20+ years:
The Firefox browser was created in 2004 by Mozilla as a faster, more private browser with more customisable features than other web browsers. Today, we're still not-for-profit, still not owned by any billionaires, and still working to make the internet — and the time you spend on it — better. I really like Firefox, but one thing I don’t love is that sometimes it closes by itself — though thankfully, that happens less often now. Also, I’ve been having trouble with the new update. I have enough storage and the required Android version, but every time I try to download it, it stops at the end and never actually updates.

i got this App about 5 minutes ago and i'm already in love. I have tried a few browsers like edge, brave, chrome, and more, but this is the best one so far. 1. this is the only one that in my experience lets me download and use extensions. maybe that's just User error, but Firefox is the only one that worked for me. 2. it just feels clean to use. i don't know how to describe it, but the UI is just perfect. I will use this on all my devices from now on.

I've been a dedicated firefox user for nearly 2 decades. Anytime I get a new device, one of the first things I do is install firefox. Since the latest update, I've had to switch to other browsers constantly. I don't like other browsers, I like firefox. But firefox won't load anything for me. It's not my connection, other browsers work fine. Please fix this, I do not want to use other browsers.
