gruff
Poor app, new to hearing aids, not new to smartphone apps. Have different notifications on phone for different things, sometimes notifications play in hearing aids, mostly not or not correct notification sound. Frustrating, missing calls, texts, etc. How about option to NOT play notifications through hearing aids while still able to use app for adjustments? App doesn't connect both hearing aids w/o restarting phone EACH time I put in hearing aids. Nexia 9 hearing aids ok, app, not so much.

Had my ReSound for a week now; going OK until day 5 when it wouldn't open because it was, it said, disconnected. The verbose, cryptic and convoluted little instruction manual says nothing about that, so I found someone on Reddit had posted a workaround, which I tried, and now I get a blank screen and no workaround to be found. For +$7000, not off to a good start. I see no phone support, and for that money, not having a manual that's clear and comprehensive will probably be a deal-breaker for me.

the app works when it stays connected, but it is very limited. I want more control. I want to choose to hear audio through the headset, choose to answer the phone in the ear pieces. do not use the mics either. this interferes with my car system when driving and someone calls. let me turn it off and on manually and default to off. speaking of which, sound settings defaulted to 'noise filter' would be better when first turning on. it's harsh as it is. especially as it takes so long to connect.
