With the ARD Quiz App, you can join in on ARD's popular quiz and show programs!

Play "Who Knows What?" on your smartphone alongside the broadcast on Das Erste's early evening program, answer all the questions in real time, and secure your chance to win the same prize as the studio audience. Even outside of the TV broadcast, you can test your knowledge, solve exciting questions, and challenge your friends or other players to duels. Of course, you can also compete against the TV teams in the game and test yourself against Bernhard, Wotan, and the current team captain, Elton.

Those who manage to answer the tricky "elite question" posed by the hunters have the chance, with a little luck, to win 50 euros. The "Elite Question" appears with each premiere of "Gefragt – Gejagt" on Das Erste. Of course, you can also replay all the shows in the app. In three exciting rounds, you collect points and then try to defend them against the quiz elite in the knowledge quiz. Particularly successful players have the opportunity to apply to be a contestant for the show via the ARD Quiz App. With a little luck, you might soon find yourself facing the quiz elite live in the studio.

The app constantly lags when playing with friends, to an extend where the current game quits - and it counts as an automatic draw. When it works, it's fun! But even then there's many problems: in gefragt gejagt, there's no timer on the questions, so one thinks there's infinite time, when suddenly your out of time. But most importantly: more than half the games are just "ads" for other apps you have to download, you can't actually play them in app, even though they are shown as a game to click.

I cant even connect to the app. It says that there is a problem connecting, which is kind if sad since I really like the shows and would like to answere the questions myself. Edit: Thank you for answering, the problem was solved in the meantime and the app now seems to work fine.

Hello, thanks for the feedback! Could you please describe the problem a bit more in detail? Do you use the app via wifi? Currently, it works best that way. Or has the problem maybe even been solved in meantime? We are looking forward to your answer!

There's no reason to require an account other than harvesting personal data. I expected better from a public broadcaster.
